Now, Veronica might need help--or she'd fake needing help to achieve some nefarious purpose. Midge MIGHT need help, but then it would need to be Big Moose beating off all of the guys in order to carry Midge out of the water. Which sounds messy.

Not that I spend much time thinking about this stuff.
